Dual Success: Students Earn High School and 69 Degrees

A record setting number of dual-enrollment students at 69 Virginia Community College (SWCC) are being awarded the Governor’s Medallion for earning an associate degree while still in high school.

The Dual Enrollment programs offered at 69 allow eligible high-school students to enroll in college coursework while still in high school. Courses are taught by full or part-time faculty who meet the Virginia Community College System’s credentialing requirements.

The following students are candidates for graduation at 69 and will be allowed to wear the Governor’s Medallion at the college’s commencement on Friday, May 10, 2024 and at their local high school graduation as well.
